20 NEW FOCUSED BLESSINGS AND 14 NEW FEATS FOR WARPRIESTS

The warpriest is an iconic fantasy archetype— the divine warrior who blends martial prowess and religious fervor into a sacred synthesis. Warpriests Unleashed introduces 20 new focused blessings for warpriests, and 14 new feats to empower and expand use of the warpriest’s class features, including blessings, fervor, sacred armor, and sacred weapon.

 Warpriests Unleashed introduces the following new focused blessings:  

• Alchemy (Artifice/Magic Blessing): Sacremental Mutagen - Major Blessing: Expend uses of your blessings to brew a special sacramental mutagen that grants sacred or profane bonuses to your ability scores and bolsters channeled energy and fervor.
• Blood (War Blessing): Bloody Assault - Major Blessing: Your melee attacks inflict grievous, bloody wounds, and make your enemies more susceptible to your further assault.
• Defense (Protection Blessing): Sentinel’s Stand - Major Blessing: Assume a stance of entranced focus and determination (similar to a stalwart defender) to defend allies and stand your ground!
• Demon (Chaos/Evil Blessing): Fiendish Gore - Minor Blessing: Cause a glowing crown of sharp, barbed horns to erupt from the brow of an ally, granting a gore attack!
• Devil (Evil/Lawful Blessing): Subjugating Strike - Minor Blessing: Bless a weapon with the domineering cruelty of hell, causing additional fire damage and sapping the willpower of your opponents.
• Dragon (Scalykind Blessing): Draconic Presence - Major Blessing: Surround yourself with a tangible aura of draconic dread and strike terror into the hearts of your foes!
• Family (Community Blessing): Ancestral Surge - Minor Blessing: Touch an ally and grant them the strength of your ancestors by sharing one of your racial traits!
• Growth (Plant Blessing): Growth Spurt - Minor Blessing: Bless allies with the power of growth, enlarging them for a short period.
• Ice (Water Blessing): Polar Strike - Major Blessing: Channel frigid cold through your armaments and stagger your opponents.
• Insect (Animal Blessing): Insectile Resiliency - Minor Blessing: Grant allies the resiliency of chitinous, mindless insects, including bonuses to natural armor and saving throws!
• Leadership (Nobility Blessing): Leader’s Command - Major Blessing: Command your allies to victory by sacrificing part of your turn to grant them extra actions!
• Light (Sun Blessing): Blazing Torchblade - Minor Blessing: Cause your weapon to blaze as the head of a torch and deal additional fire damage to enemies.
• Metal (Earth Blessing): Magnetizing Grasp - Minor Blessing: Magnetize the metal armaments of your foes, making them easier to target with metal weapons.
• Moon (Darkness Blessing): Moonlight Strike - Minor Blessing: Cause enemies to blaze with silvery moonlight, banishing shadows to thwart hidden enemies.
• Petrification (Earth Blessing): Petrifying Strike - Major Blessing: Gradually turn your foes to stone.
• Protean (Chaos Blessing): Morphic Form - Major Blessing: Surprise your foes in battle by temporarily gaining eidolon evolutions!
• Rage (Destruction Blessing): Divine Rage - Major Blessing: Enter a ferocious barbarian’s rage!
• Smoke (Fire Blessing): Smokeform - Major Blessing: Assume the form of smoke and suffocate your foes.
• Tactics (War Blessing): Combat Instruction - Minor Blessing: Share combat feats between yourself and an ally!
• Undead (Death Blessing): Undead Companion - Major Blessing: Summon a zombie or skeleton to join you in combat!

Warpriests Unleashed also introduces 14 new feats that empower warpriests to wield their deity’s gifts in new ways, including investiture of a few paladin or antipaladin spells, additional uses of blessings and fervor, options for adding new special properties through sacred armor and sacred weapon, and new ways to use and improve blessings (such as through an aura or delivering them through a weapon attack) and fervor (such as targeting alignment or elemental outsiders and delivering channel energy effects)!

Warpriests are stalwart champions of faith bestowed by their deities with blessings —unique boons and abilities that enhance their combat skills, protect them from harm, and bolster their allies. Warpriests choose blessings from a list tied to the cleric domains of the same name. Yet, while clerics and warpriests both select from around 40 domains and blessings, clerics also have access to over 100 “subdomains” representing a deeper focus in that area of faith— in contrast, warpriests have access to less than ten “focused blessings” that represent their own respective specialization. The result is that clerics enjoy far greater customization and specialization potential than their warpriest counterparts- until now!
